Greetings, and a warm welcome to the 2008 Georgia Baptist Church Conference! It is my prayer that you will find this year s conference informative and enlightening and that it will benefit you both musically and spiritually. Georgia Baptist churches are blessed with an excellent group of music leaders, and it will be a pleasure to have you join us on October 9-10, 2008.
This year s conference leader, Dr. Tom Cleveland, is the Acting Director of Vocology at the Vanderbilt Voice Center and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology in the school of Medicine, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Cleveland will be presenting his Vocal Symposium for our conference this year. Additionally, we will be hosting several breakout Sessions designed to deal with specific areas of church music ministry. This year's conference will be at First Baptist Church, Calhoun, Georgia. Many thanks to the staff, and members of First Baptist for their hard work in hosting our conference this year.
