Greetings and welcome to the Georgia Baptist Church Music Conference 2009! Georgia Baptists have a rich tradition of outstanding music leadership across the state. Our hope for the conference is that it will contribute greatly to that heritage of excellence. Each year's conference brings an opportunity for us to sit under the teaching of some of the best and brightest church music and worship leaders of our day. This year's conference is certainly no exception. Our theme this year will be Worship and to lead us we are very pleased to be able to announce Dr. Marva J. Dawn as our conference speaker. The conference this year is made possible only by our partnering with Vineville Baptist Church, Macon. They will also serve as hosts for the weekend. Those of you who are familiar with Marva Dawn's teaching and writing know that we are in for a real treat.
